Johnny Depp's Personal Life Will Not Affect His Career: Disney CEO

Johnny Depp is making headlines for his short-lived marriage with Amber Heard but the film fraternity is sure that the circumstances will not affect his professional life. Recently in an interview, Disney CEO Bob Ige said that he is not worried about his divorce case and accusations of abuse against him. He further told Hollywood Reporter that people are able to separate Sparrow and Depp and, hence, it isn’t an issue for him.

When asked if this tough phase will pass, Ige said, “I don't know whether it passes or not. We have Jack Sparrow”. About the divorce case, he said, “Not worried about it”.

Depp has refused to comment on the ongoing hassle in his personal life. However, his representative said in a statement, “Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life. Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly”.
