Jon Dore, David Paymer, and Lynn Cohen to star in The Pickle Recipe

Jon Dore, David Paymer, and Lynn Cohen are set to star in The Pickle Recipe, reported by TheWrap. The movie, which has been described as an indie comedy will be helmed by Michael Manasseri. The screenplay has been provided by Sheldon Cohn, based on a story by Gary Wolfson and Cohn.

Dore stars as a struggling party emcee in a desperate need for cash and corrupted by his shameless uncle- to be played by Paymer. He plans to steal his grandmother’s (Cohen) secret pickle recipe. The movie will be produced by Storyboard Entertainment’s Jason Potash and Paul Finkel along with Cohn and Wolfson. While Manasseri, is producing through his company Made in Michigan Entertainment.

The movie will go on the floor by the end of this month. Dore has appeared on Comedy Central’s Kroll Show and Inside Amy Schumer. The comedian also had his own series, The Jon Dore Television Show.
