Julianne Moore To Star In Remake Of ‘Gloria’

Julianne Moore has been roped in to star in the remake of critically acclaimed flick 'Gloria' which was directed by Sebastian Lelio. However, it has believed that the new project will not be a straight remake of the movie but will be inspired by the film's story and characters. Juan de Dios Larrain who produced the original film will be producing the new project also.

The Oscar winning actress will play a free-spirited woman in her 50s. Though she stays alone, but lives her life to the fullest by visiting social dance clubs and searches for single adults in Los Angeles to find love. Her life takes a u-turn the day she meets Arnold.

"As one of the greatest actresses in the world, Julianne giving her interpretation of the character is not only a huge honor, it's irresistible. It's going to be like jazz, you'll feel the spirit of the original story but it'll be re-invigorated and vital," said Sebastian. The movie is being directed by Pablo Larrain.
