    Jon Favreau’s re-imagination of Mowgli’s epic tale, ‘The Jungle Book’ has secured the top spot on the weekend box office list. The movie, running on its second weekend, pooled in $60 million which sends its total over $528 million. Neel Sethi plays the role of Mowgli with Scarlett Johansson voicing Kaa, Bill Murray voicing Baloo, Idris Elba giving the voice for Shere Khan and Ben Kingsley voicing Bagheera.

    The Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron starrer ‘The Huntsman: Winter's War’ saw an opening of $20 million. Directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, the movie has pooled in more than $100 million worldwide. Malcolm D. Lee’s ‘Barbershop: The Next Cut’ came in third with its $10.8 million. The total earnings for the Ice Cube starrer have reached $36 million.

    Looks like there is no stopping ‘Zootopia’ as the movie has added another $6.6 million to its total, on its eighth weekend. The worldwide earnings for the Byron Howard and Rich Moore directorial have reached $907 million. Beating 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' for a spot on the top five list was Ben Falcone’s ‘The Boss’. The movie stars Melissa McCarthy and grossed $6 million on its third weekend.
