    It was a very rare occasion and it will be a memorable one for every Indian it seems. The Oscar-winning director Steven Spielberg, who is in India to celebrate the success ofLincoln, has announced something big. He is going to work on a new film on the Indo-Pak border in the Kashmir valley. And he will produce the film along with his former co-producer Reliance Entertainment, owned by Anil Ambani. Earlier they had worked together inLincoln.

    The 66-year-old veteran filmmaker confirmed, “We have finalised a script for a movie. Part of it will take place on the India-Pakistan border in Kashmir. But we're still trying to figure out the casting, locations and who's going to direct it.”

    On Monday, Anil and Tina Ambani threw a grand party in honour of Spielberg which was attended by Amitabh Bachchan and several top personalities from Indian film fraternity like Karan Johar, Ramesh Sippy, Madhur Bhandarkar, Ashutosh Gowariker, Anurag Kashyap, Rajkumar Hirani and Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra and many more. But now it seems that Spielberg actually visited India to announce his plans on the Kashmir-based film with the Reliance Entertainment team.

    There is something bigger into it as theIndiana Jonesand the Temple of Doomdirector has also revealed his plans to remake a Hollywood film with an Indian director and scriptwriter. In an interview with a leading talk show, he said, "The experiment I'd like to conduct someday is to take an American movie and remake that film in India. Take that same story and remake that story with an Indian director and an Indian screenwriter to make the necessary adaptation."
