Katy Perry’s D. N. C. Speech: Boyfriend Orlando Bloom’s Inspiration

Katy Perry was to deliver a speech at the final night of the Democratic National Convention, held on August 28, in Philadelphia. Before Hillary Clinton’s speech, Katy spoke a little and also performed the song, ‘Rise’ and ‘Roar’. It was a proud moment for boyfriend Orlando Bloom to observe Katy convey a speech which he helped her to write.

Katy, like a generous partner credited Orlando on every line that he wrote, she said, “Lando put that one in.” It was then discovered that Perry apparently calls Orlando ‘Lando’. “Both my parents are pastors and staunch Republicans. I didn't finish high school,” she began. “I love Hillary,” Katy continued. “I have saved messages on my phone from HRC. You know I've got a closet full of Hillary-themed dresses!”

Mia Moretti also took a moment to appreciate the singer's speech. “Four prom dates are better than one,” she captioned the photo from the DNC. “Blessed to have friends that use their hearts & their voices to fight for a fair healthy balanced world, because it is SO SO important!
