Keanu Reeves starrer John Wick to feature Bridget Moynahan

A contemporary revenge thriller, John Wick, will reportedly star Bridget Moynahan along with Keanu Reeves in the leading roles. The movie has started shooting this Monday at Mill Neck.

Reeves will be seen as a former hit man in the movie who is compelled to resume his action after his car is stolen and his dog is killed. Eventually he gets pitted against a Russian crime boss, to be played by Michael Nyqvist. The film also stars Willem Dafoe, Alfie Allen, Adrianne Palicki and Dean Winters. The role of Reeves’ spouse will be played by Moynahan.

Directed by Chad Stahelski and David Leitch, John Wick has a screenplay by Derek Kolstad. After working as second-unit directors and stunt coordinators, Stahelski and Leitch will mark their directorial debut with John Wick. Both the directors have previously worked with Reeves in The Matrix films where Stahelskiwas the actor’s stunt double. The entire shooting of the film will take place mainly in theNew York City and the greater New York area. Moynahan will also be seen in her upcoming films like Small Time and Midnight Sun.
