Kelly Rohrbach Playing Pamela’s Role In Baywatch Movie

Following Dwayne Johnson’s statement, “And juuuuust wait til you guys see who we cast for the iconic role of C.J. Parker….”, Variety has reported that Kelly Rohrbach has been roped in for the role. C.J. Parker was originally played by Pamela Anderson. Kelly has been part of shows like Two and a Half Men and Rizzoli & Isles.

The movie will also star Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario. Dwayne and Alexandra recently worked together in the film San Andreas. The movie will be quite different from the original series as it will focus more on the comedy part. There are also speculations that Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff will return for the movie but that seems unlikely.

With direction by Seth Gordon, the Baywatch movie will be released in 2017. Damian Shannon and Mark Swift will be writing the script for the film. The movie will be produced by Johnson, Dany Garcia, Beau Flynn, Ivan Reitman, Michael Berk, Douglas Schwartz and Greg Bonnan.
