Kevin Smith On Ben Affleck As Batman

Jay & Silent Bob star Kevin Smith is a huge fan of Batman. The actor recently stated that Ben Affleck might be the best Batman yet. He has high hopes for Affleck as the caped crusader. Kevin also named his daughter after the DC villain Harley Quinn.

Kevin stated, “Right away, he’s the best looking Batman we’ve ever seen. The hardest thing to nail about Batman is Bruce Wayne, because that’s where you’ve got no mask and you’ve got to be a human being. But that dude is Bruce Wayne, so he’s born to play that role”.  After the 2003 film Daredevil, Ben Affleck told Kevin that he would not want to play a role that requires him to put on a costume.

Kevin added, “Now it looks like he is the best Batman we’ve seen so far”. Affleck will be seen on screen as the Batman on March 25 in the highly anticipated Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. The movie has been directed by Zack Snyder.
