The upcoming sequel to the animated series Kung Fu Panda has got five concept images. The pictures were released by DreamWorks Animation through Entertainment Weekly. The images show the group of pandas in their habitat – the hidden panda village. They can be viewed at Comingsoon.net.

The first two parts of the series revolved around a panda named Po, voiced by Jack Black, who idolizes the five kung fu masters – tigress, monkey, mantis, viper and crane - and their trainer Shifu. He gets an opportunity to train with the furious five and discovers his true calling, to become a kung fu master. Protecting the village against evil’s like Tai Lung in the first part and Shen in the second, Po finds out that his real family, the pandas, have in fact survived all these years in the hidden panda village.

The third instalment will show the reunion of Po with his family and his attempt to teach the other pandas the art of kung fu. Directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson, Kung Fu Panda 3 will be released on January 29 next year, in the U.S. The script will be written by Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger.
