Kung Fu Panda 3 Gets New Trailer

20th Century Fox has released a new trailer for the much anticipated sequel to the Kung Fu Panda series. Following the events of the second instalment, Kung Fu Panda 3 will reunite Po with his long lost father. The trailer shows new footage of the characters, the antagonist and the hidden panda village.

Kung Fu Panda 2 ended with a scene which showed Po’s father and a glimpse of the hidden village. Now, the new trailer reveals Po’s father meeting Po and taking him back to the hidden panda village, where he takes up the job of teaching Kung Fu to the amateur pandas. The villain, this time, will be Kai who “used to work with Master Oogway”.

Returning in their iconic roles will be Jack Black as the voice of Po, Jackie Chan as Monkey, Lucy Liu as Viper, Angelina Jolie as Tigress, David Cross as Crane and Seth Rogen as Mantis. Po’s father will be voiced by Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston. The movie has been directed by Alessandro Carloni and Jennifer Yuh and will hit the screens on January 29 next year.
