Kung Fu Panda 3 Tops The Weekend Box Office Again

The third instalment in the animated Kung Fu Panda series has once again secured the top spot in the weekend box office list. The movie grossed $21 million on its second weekend. The overall earnings for Kung Fu Panda 3 have reached $198.1 million worldwide.

The recently released Hail, Ceaser! saw an opening weekend of $11.4 million. The movie stars Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Ralph Fiennes and Tilda Swinton. Leonardo DiCaprio’s The Revenant still maintains a spot in the top five list with its $7.1 million. The movie has been running on its seventh weekend with an overall gross of $326 million.

The Force seems to be extremely strong with this one. The seventh episode in the epic Star Wars series has claimed the fourth spot with its $6.8 million. Running on its eighth weekend, The Force Awakens has crossed the $2 billion mark worldwide. The recently released The Choice starring Alexandra Daddario, Maggie Grace and Teresa Palmer has pooled in $6.08 million on its opening weekend.
