The second instalment in the Guardians of the Galaxy series came out in April and introduced Kurt Russell as the father of Chris Pratt’s character Peter Quill a.k.a. Star Lord. While shooting, Kurt referred to Star Lord as Star Wars a few times, which was quite funny. He can be heard doing so in one of the takes on the film’s Blu-ray.

“Well, even where I reside out past the edge of what's known, we've heard tales about the man they call Star Wars. We could be in trouble”, says the actor, in one of the takes on the disc. In another dialogue, he says, “We've heard tell of the man they call Star Wars. Ugh. Yes, Star Wars. He's all of Star Wars. We've heard of the movie Star Wars”.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2’ was directed by James Gunn. It brought back the guardians which include Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon and Vin Diesel as Groot, along with Chris Pratt. The movie earned more than $861 million at the worldwide box office.
