Lady Gagas June 3 Indonesian concert cancelled

Lady Gagas June 3 Indonesian concert cancelled

Pop sensation Lady Gaga, who tried very hard to get the licence for the Indonesian concert, is very disappointed over the cancellation of the June 3 show and said that her love for the country has grown manifolds. Though earlier she insisted that she will perform in Indonesia at any cost, the singer has to cancel her Born This Way Ball concert in Jakarta ultimately due to Islamic hard-liners opposition. "We had to cancel the concert in Indonesia. I'm so very sorry to the fans and just as devastated as you if not more. You are everything to me. I will try to put together something special for you. My love for Indonesia has only grown and all its people," Gaga tweeted recently. Around 50,000 tickets to the concert were sold out in the country but due to non-cooperation of the police Gaga had to cancel the show. "This is a huge concert so it can't be moved elsewhere. Nowhere else in Indonesia can accommodate that many people," concert promoters Big Daddy president director Michael Rusli said.
