Landlord Sues Amber Portwood For Trashing Her House!

Looks like Amber Portwood has fallen into more trouble as reports have stated that the 26-year-old mom has been sued by her former landlord for trashing her own house. The landlord, who had to clean up her family's mess, claims that she is also behind on her rent. Amber lives with her husband, two dogs and two cats.

The couple owes $1,600 to the landlord just for skipping last month’s rent. Other damages, according to the landlord, were “dry wall damage repair, vertical blind replacement, six new mini blinds, new door knob, hardwire new smoke detector, set of four drip plans, removal and dump of contents left behind, and weed, mulch, brush removal, gutter cleaning and fence repair”. The documents also state that their pets had ruined the carpets in the house, all of which the landlord had to replace.

The total amount for the repairs including rent is somewhere north of $6,000. Amber and her husband Matt Baier have been summoned to court on February 23 but it is expected that she will settle out of court. Though Amber has not made any comment on the issue, people close to the scene have stated that she is not taking any responsibility for the charges.
