The Wrap has reported that Angelina Jolie's brother James Haven will be making his big screen directorial debut with the film ‘The Last Boy’. The movie will be based on the novel ‘The Last Boy on Earth’ by Thomas M Burby. The actor-producer is known from his roles in ‘Original Sin’ and ‘Breaking Dawn’.

The Last Boy will tell the story of a teenage boy who somehow survives a deadly airborne virus that has killed most of the people on the planet. James had previously directed a short drama titled Court of Conscience last year. It starred Jon Voight, Anton Yelchin and Elester Latham.

Looks like James is following the footsteps of his sister Angelina who made her directorial debut in 2011 with the film ‘In the Land of Blood and Honey’. She directed and acted in ‘By the Sea’ alongside her husband Brad Pitt last year and helmed ‘Unbroken’ in 2014. The actress is now working on bringing Loung Ung’s book ‘First They Killed My Father’ to the big screen.
