Laura Dern Reveals That Steven Spielberg Once Told Her To Never Get Her Face Under Surgery

Hollywood actress Laura Dern is known to have starred in movies such as Jurassic Park, Wild at Heart and Blue Velvet. The actress is currently starring in the television drama series ‘Big Little Lies’. Recently, the actress recalled the time when she was about to star in Jurassic Park at the age of 23.

Dern revealed that the she was asked not to get her face under surgery by Steven Spielberg, who was helming the sci-fi movie. The 50-year-old actress said, “When I was 23, right before a close-up on 'Jurassic Park', Spielberg said to me, 'People will tell you what you could do to your face years from now. Don't you ever touch your face”.

She added, “He was saying, 'Your face is perfect, it's female, it's emotional.' I am determined to be human in my acting, and when you own your power and your womanhood, you grow into your beauty. Your face finds you”.
