LeBron James In Talks For Space Jam 2

Following the rumours of LeBron James’ casting for Space Jam 2, The Hollywood Reporter has brought news that the Cleveland Cavaliers player has been roped in for the film. James signed a deal with Warner Bros. last summer. Justin Lin is in talks to direct the film.

This won’t be the basketball star’s first time on screen as he was present in the 2015 film ‘Trainwreck’. The comedy movie starred Amy Schumer and Bill Hader while James played a version of himself. Space Jam 2 will be the sequel of the original 1996 film which starred Michael Jordan.

The screenplay for the sequel might be penned by Andrew Dodge as he is in talks for the position. Director Justin Lin is currently busy with Star Trek Beyond which will be released on July 22. The director is known for his work in the Fast and Furious franchise. He has helmed the third through sixth instalment in the series.
