Legendary producer Allison Shearmur passes away

Allison Shearmur fans, we have some bad news for you. The legendary producer who produced movies likes The Hunger Games and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is no more. The industry will face a great loss no doubt.

The producer passed away in a hospital in Los Angeles. The cause of her death was not known. She was 53 years old.

Allison had, before turning towards production, worked as an executive at The Walt Disney, Universal and Paramount. Moreover, she has to her credit the production of classics like Pride and Prejudice, Cindrella and the upcoming project The One and Only Ivan. Moreover, she was also the executive producer of sci-fi movies like Power Rangers and What to Except When You’re Expecting. She also worked as an executive producer of the recent movie Dirty Dancing.

Well, it is a serious loss to the industry. We hope that her soul rests in peace. We thank her for her invaluable and immense contribution to the world of cinema.
