Leighton Meester to act in Of Mice and Men

The Oranges star Leighton Meester has been roped in to act in Of Mice and Men. The drama will be Broadway’s upcoming production and it will be first time for Leighton to be part of such a thing in her career. The actress will be seen as Curley's wife, a flirtatious young lady who poses a threat to O'Dowd's character, the well-meaning but mentally limited Lennie in the play.

Leighton is now a part of a star cast that includes actors James Franco and Chris O'Dowd. At present, the 27-year-old actress is busy in filming for God Only Knows, Any Tom, Dick, or Harry, The Judge, Life Partners and Like Sunday, Like Rain. It appears that the pretty lady has a bucket full of films. It will good to see her on screen in various characters.
