    20th Century Fox has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming film ‘The Revenant’ starring Leonardo DiCaprio. He plays the role of Hugh Glass, who has been left behind by his companions. DiCaprio makes it out alive and begins his journey for revenge. The story is based on real events.

    The trailer starts with DiCaprio looking towards a huge mountain and whispering, “I ain't afraid of dyin' anymore. I've done that already”. Then follow scenes of a raging battle with amazing cinematography by Emmanuel Lubezki. The Inception star is seen struggling for his survival against bears and the harsh cold, dragging himself out of a burrow, shooting his attackers while riding a horse, and in several other thrilling sequences. With a total of three dialogues and intense background sounds, the trailer is sure to leave the viewers with goosebumps.

    Directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, The Revenant stars Tom Hardy, Will Poulter and Domhnall Gleeson along with Leonardo DiCaprio. It is written by Mark L. Smith and Alejandro G. Iñárritu himself. Screenplay for the movie has been adapted from Michael Punke's novel of the same name. The Revenant will be released on January 7 next year.
