Liam Payne and girlfriend Cheryl have decided to part ways. According to reports, the couple who first went public with their romance in 2015 announced their split on Twitter saying that it’s been a tough decision. If we go by the reports, the former Girls Aloud star, 35, and Liam split up two weeks ago.

Liam and Cheryl have a son named Bear who was born in March last year. The couple wrote on Twitter, “Cheryl and I are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It’s been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together”.

Moreover, rumours were earlier doing the rounds about their split even. In February, the singer was questioned about the rumours of a possible split with the pop star while attending an event. When a journalist asked if she was frustrated that break-up rumours might overshadow her charity campaign, the singer dodged the question at that time.
