    Lili Taylor has replaced Angela Bettis in Leatherface. Bettis dropped out of the project due to scheduling issues. Now, The Conjuring actress will be essaying the role initially picked for Angela Bettis.

    Leatherface will serve as the prequel to the 2003, hit film Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The original film was helmed by Marcus Nispel and earned over $100 million worldwide. The movie featured Jessica Biel, Jonathan Tucker and Erica Leerhsen in the lead roles. Leatherface focuses upon the story of a nurse who is kidnapped by teenagers after escaping from a mental institution.

    Taylor will be joining Stephen Dorff, Sam Strike, James Bloor, Sam Coleman and Jessica Madsen in the horror film. The movie will be produced by Christa Campbell and Lati Grobman, along with Carl Mazzocone and Les Weldon. Lili Taylor, who was last seen in Blood Ties, has also appeared in several television shows including American Crime.
