Lily Cole Would Like To See A Female Version Of James Bond

The Moth Diaries actress Lily Cole recently shared her interest in seeing a female version of James Bond. The actress was asked if she would like to play the role of a Bond girl. Her answer was that she would rather play a female version of James Bond rather than playing a Bond girl.

Lily shared that she does not like male and female stereotypes and that playing a Bond girl is quite stereotypical. “But they are not the most interesting characters historically, whereas, Bond could be a bit more fun. I also don't like male and female stereotype. I think it is about time we had a female Bond put it that way”, the actress said.

She feels that Cate Blanchett should play a female Bond as she is one of the several strong female actresses. On the work front, the 28-year-old actress was last seen in ‘The Messenger’ which came out last year. The movie was a horror-drama directed by David Blair.
