    Lily Tomlin Honored With SAG Life Achievement Award By Jane Fonda, Dolly Parton

    The 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will honor Lily Tomlin with the 2017 SAG Life Achievement Award. The award will be presented by her ‘9 to 5’ co-stars Jane Fonda and Dolly Parton. Lily, Jane and Dolly worked together in the 1980 feminist revenge comedy which is one of the 100 Funniest American Movies of All Time. The movie was also Parton’s first feature role.

    Tomlin is the 53rd recipient of SAG Life Achievement Award. In her illustrious career, she has also won the 2014 Kennedy Center Award, two Peabody Awards, the 2003 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, two Tony Awards, a Writers Guild of America Award, a Grammy and multiple Emmys. Tomlin and Fonda star and executive produce the Netflix comedy series ‘Grace and Frankie’.

    The veteran actress was last seen on the big screen in the 2015 flick ‘Grandma’. The 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be held on January 29 at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium. The event will be broadcast on TNT and TBS.
