Lizzy Caplan In Talks To Star In Channing Tatum Starrer 'Gambit'

Hollywood actress Lizzy Caplan is known to have starred in movies such as Now You See Me 2, Mean Girls and The Interview. The actress is currently in talks to star in the upcoming movie ‘Gambit’. According to sources, the actress will be portraying the lead role in the upcoming flick.

As it is known, Channing Tatum will be portraying the lead role as the superhero. The upcoming movie is a Marvel spin-off. The main character of ‘Gambit’, is a ragin’ Cajun whose ability to control kinetic energy enables him to weaponize playing cards and other projectiles. According to the comics, the character is a member of the Thieves Guild before joining the X-Men. The movie will be helmed by Gore Verbinski, who has previously helmed the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ series.

The movie will be bankrolled by Fox Entertainment and is slated to release on February 19, 2019. The movie will be an expansion of the cinematic mutant universe.
