Luke Evans to star in Otto Bathhurst’s ‘Three Seconds’

Luke Evans has landed to star in the Otto Bathurst’s upcoming prison thriller Three Seconds. Evans is well known to foreign buyers, thanks to his turn in Peter Jackson's Hobbit trilogy and Dracula Untold.

According to sources, movie is based on a novel with same name in which Evans will play an FBI agent who is forced to go undercover in a maximum security prison. When his cover is blown and he’s abandoned by his employers, he must figure out a way to break out or die at the hands of nefarious foes. Filming is scheduled to begin in the spring in New York.
