Macaulay Culkin Says He Was Not Addicted To Heroin

Home Alone actor Macaulay Culkin has opened up about news of his heroin addiction and stated that he did not struggle with painkiller and drug addiction in 2012. It was rumoured that his break up with Mila Kunis in 2010 was the reason for him using drugs. Talking with The Guardian, the actor stated that the media was using him to sell stories.

“Of course, when silly stuff is going on - but no, I was not pounding six grand of heroin every month or whatever. The thing that bugged me was tabloids wrapping it all in this weird guise of concern. No, you're trying to shift papers”, Macaulay shared.

He also stated that he does not understand why people still follow and talk about him. “I have no idea. I was thinking about this the other day - I'd crossed the wrong street, picked up a tail, suddenly there's a crush of 20 paparazzi. Then people with cameraphones get involved. I don't think I'm worthy of that”, said the actor. The 35-year-old star shared that he is a big fan of travelling and mostly lives in France.
