    Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron starrer Mad Max: Fury Road has been named the best movie of 2015 by the National Board of Review. The movie was directed by George Miller and was released in May. Mad Max received appreciation from the audience as well as critics when it was released.

    The Martian also racked in awards for the best director and best actor. The movie has been directed by Ridley Scott and stars Matt Damon in the lead role. Room star Brie Larson was awarded with the title of best actress. The movie is based on a novel by Emma Donoghue. Sylvester Stallone was given the award for best supporting actor for his role in Creed.

    Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight actress Jennifer Jason Leigh won the best supporting actress award. Tarantino was given the award for best original screenplay. The animated flick Inside Out won the award for best animated feature.
