Madonna overtakes Elvis Presleys record of number one albums in UK

With her latest album MDNA topping the UK album chart, pop queenMadonna has become the most successful solo artist in Britain beating Rock n' Roll king ElvisPresley. It was the 12th chart-topper of the singers career, breaking the record of Presley's11 number ones. MDNA beat David Guettas Nothing But the Beat by 34,000 copies. The PapaDon't Preach hitmaker said, "My whole life has been a combination of hard work and prayer.Preparation is essential but you need as many angels watching over you as possible as well. I'mgetting ready for rehearsing my world tour so I have been in training." The pop singer is workingharder than ever to get in shape for her upcoming tour. "I have to say that in more than 25 yearsof performing I have never worked so hard or been so scrupulous. Or freaked out more than Ihave at the minute, she added. Despite giving so many successful albums, not all of her songsare liked by her own children whose criticism hurt the singer a lot, Sun online reported. "My kidsare brutally honest when it comes to what they don't like. They have no tact whatsoever. They'lljust say, 'Mum, get that song off' even when mine. It's hurtful but at least they're honest," shesaid.
