    The popular card series from Hasbro, Magic: The Gathering’s rights have been acquired by 20th Century Fox and a film based on the same has entered the development phase for the makers. The movie will be produced by Simon Kinberg. He will also help in taking the project forward as well. Hasbro’s CEO Brian Goldner, Stephen Davis and Wizards of the Coast’s CEO Greg Leeds will supervise it and will be the executive producers as well.

It was introduced in 1993 by Wizards of the Coast; involves cards that feature a range of characters and weapons that can be used to beat the opponents. The game was really much loved by kids and adults in the era of 90’s and is still very much talked about. It will be interesting to see an onscreen adaptation of the fantasy game that has been cherished over the years.
