Mark Strong To Play Villain In Dc's Shazam?

It has been heard that Hollywood actor Mark Strong will be back to the DC universe. Lately, he has been in talks for playing the role of a baddie in the DC Extended Universe's upcoming movie Shazam. The actor will be portraying Doctor Sivana in the film, which also stars Zachary Levi in the lead.

Moreover, this is not the first time that the 54-year-old actor will play a baddie. He had earlier starred in 'Green Lantern', where he had played the classic DC villain Sinestro. The film is being directed by David F. Sandberg, who has worked in 'Annabelle: Creation' earlier.

The story of the film revolves around a boy named Billy Batson, who can transform himself into an adult superhero by uttering the magic word Shazam. An official release date for the film has not yet been announced. However, it has been speculated that the film might release in 2019.
