Mary Elizabeth Winstead To Star In ‘The Parts You Lose’

Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who starred in the recent third season of FX’s ‘Fargo’, has been approached to star in thriller ‘The Parts You Lose’. She will star alongside Aaron Paul and newcomer Danny Murphy. Halt and Catch Fire co-creator Christopher Cantwell will at the helm of affairs for the project.

The story of the flick revolves around unlikely friendship that develops between a young deaf boy, Wesley, and a fugitive criminal who takes shelter in an abandoned barn on the family’s rural North Dakota farm. The deaf boy is stuck between choosing the criminal and helping the authorities when they come to look for the man. Winstead will play Wesley’s mother Gail.

The film will be produced by Mark Johnson, who won the Oscar for the 1988 Barry Levinson-directed film Rain Man, under his banner Gran Via banner with Tom Williams and Paul. Darren Lemke has written he flick. Mary recently completed the shooting of ‘All About Nina’ in which she will star opposite Common.
