    Matt Damon planning to move behind camera, signs Christopher Nolan's Interstellar

    Hollywood actor, producer and screenwriter Matt Damon is in talks with Oscar-winning screenplay writer Chris Terrio for a directorial debut. The42-year-old has also been roped in by Christopher Nolan for his upcoming sci-fi venture Interstellar where he will be playing a small role.

    The directorial project by Damon entitled A Murder Foretold, is a true story of a man who was shot dead in Guatemala. The man left a video evidence behind that incriminates the South American nation’s president, his wife and close assistant. He was earlier supposed to direct Promised Land but cancelled the plan of direction for certain reasons. The actor’s role in Interstellar is not disclosed yet but according to ThePlaylist, he will shoot for two weeks in Iceland.

    It was also learnt from the same source that Damon adds to the already signed cast of Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain. The film will also feature Topher Grace, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck and Mackenzie Foy. The film produced by Emma Thomas and Lynda Obst, is scheduled to release onNovember 7, 2014.
