Megan Fox Joins Cast Of 'Shadow Girl'

Actor Megan Fox has been roped in to star in the magic-realism movie 'Shadow Girl'. The flick already stars Jim Gaffigan, Maria Dizzia and Tito Ortiz. According to reports, the film will be written and directed by Claudia Myers. Apart from Megan, actors Olivia Thirlby and Alan Ritchson have also joined the cast of the film.

The story of the film revolves around a young woman who has faded to the point of becoming invisible and must find her own way to get into the world. After spending a decade in solitude and making a living in the shadows as a paparazzi photographer, she comes in contact with a disrespected MMA fighter who is working as a bouncer. The woman later discovers that it was one of her tabloid photographs that tarnished his image. She is assigned with the duty of restoring him to his former glory if she wants to find a place in the world around her.

"'Shadow Girl' is fundamentally about our need for connection and seeing beyond our own experience. It's easy to get lost in a world where your sense of self is dependent on others," said Myers. The film has been produced by Hipzee, Boundary Stone Films, and Wrangle Entertainment.
