Melissa McCarthy To Star In The Kitchen With Tiffany Haddish

It has been confirmed that actress Melissa McCarthy is going to be a part of the mob drama The Kitchen. The actress will be sharing screen space with Tiffany Haddish for New Line Cinema and DC Entertainment . Moreover, the story of the drama revolves around a group of Irish mobsters sent to prison.

Also, the film is going to be directed by Andrea Berloff, who has also developed the script on her own. This movie is also set to mark Berloff’s debut feature directorial. And reports reveal that the film has been bankrolled by Michael De Luca. Meanwhile, McCarthy had earlier been nominated for an Academy Award for 2011’s Bridesmaids.

On the work front, she had also starred in New Line’s 2014 comedy Tammy. Moreover, she is playing the lead character in the upcoming New Line film Life of the Party, which is being directed by spouse Ben Falcone. It is set to release on May 11.
