The Hollywood Reporter has stated that Creed actor Michael B. Jordon has joined the cast of ‘Black Panther’. Ryan Coogler will be directing the film and has previously worked with Michael in ‘Fruitvale Station’ and ‘Creed’. The actor will be joining Chadwick Boseman who will be reprising his role as the Black Panther.

Chadwick can be seen as the superhero in the film ‘Captain America: Civil War’. Black Panther made his debut in the 1996 comic Fantastic Four #52. Michael is not new to the superhero world as he previously played Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, in last year’s ‘Fantastic Four’.

Coogler will also be writing the script for the film which is planned for a February 2018 release. Lupita Nyong’o is also in talks to join the project. Michael was last seen in ‘Creed’ where he played Adonis Johnson, the son of Apollo Creed. The movie was quite a success at the box office.
