Michael Eklund to star in Lower Bay alongside Rose McGowan

Michael Eklund is set to star in the psychological thriller Lower Bay. The Poker Night actor will join the cast alongside Rose McGowan and Christopher Llyod. The film will be helmed by Nina Ljeti.

The Bates Motel star will be seen essaying the role of detective. Eklund helps an author to investigate a mysterious man. The movie is based on the script written by Jenna Mattison. Lower Bay is also the name of a train station in Toronto. The station is a popular location for movie shoots, which includes Michael Douglas starrer Don’t Say Word and The Taking Of Pelham One Two Three.

The movie will be produced by Hackybox Pictures and WeatherVane Productions. The movie also features Richard Gunn. Gunn will be seen playing the role of Rose McGowan’s fiancée.
