Michael Fassbender Is Aguilar, Callum In New Assassins Creed Photos

Empire has released two new images that show off Michael Fassbender as Callum Lynch and his ancestor Aguilar. It was previously reported that Michael has been playing the Assassins Creed games by Ubisoft (the inspiration for the film) to get a feel of the character. Now the actor has put that knowledge in use in the new photo.

The movie, like the games, will follow an individual who is able to experience his ancestor’s memories through modern technology. The games followed a character named Desmond Miles and his ancestor Altaïr ibn-La'Ahad, while the movie will have Michael Fassbender play Callum Lynch and his ancestor Aguilar. Michael finds out that he is a descendent of the Assassins, a mysterious secret society.

Assassins Creed cast includes Marion Cotillard, Michael K. Williams, Jeremy Irons and Brendan Gleeson. The movie will be directed by Justin Kurzel and will hit the screens on December 21 next year. Regency Enterprises will be producing the film.
