Michael Fassbender Playing Lead In The Snowman?

Last year it was announced that Tomas Alfredson would play the lead in The Snowman. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie will now star Michael Fassbender in the lead role. The movie is supposed to be directed by Martin Scorsese.

The Snowman will be a big screen adaptation of the novel by the same name, from author Jo Nesbo. It focuses on the detective Harry Hole, who is investigating a number of disappearing women. He finds that the common factor in all the disappearances is that the married women go missing the day the first snow falls.

Known for his role as Magneto in the X-Men franchise, Michael will soon be seen in Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs. It will be released on October 9. The movie will be a biographical drama which will shed light on the life of Apple’s co-founder. It is produced by Christian Colson, Guymon Casady, Mark Gordon, Scott Rudin and Danny Boyle.
