He adds, "Right now, I'm on the verge of a huge break." As his star athlete ditches him by signing a contract with someone else, he meets Bill Paxton and Alan Arkin to recruit the next great star in the game of baseball. He explains further, "It's called 'Million Dollar Arm' -- we find the first Major League Baseball player from India.” Among the prospective players, Life of Pi's Suraj Sharma looks the most promising one. Then the finalists are shown learning the skills to make out the best of the American pastime and gradually becoming Hamm's "alternative family thing," as his neighbour Lake Bell puts it. Mark Ciardi and Gordon Gray-produced Million Dollar Arm is a sports drama based on a true story of baseball pitchers Rinku Singh and Dinesh Patel. The film will hit the cinemas on May 16, 2014.
