After leaping from the Burj Khalifa and Hanging on the side of a plane, Tom Cruise recently announced that Mission Impossible 6 is being developed. Now Paramount Pictures vice chairman Rob Moore has also confirmed the news. It was the first statement by the studio as it is known for not unveiling information about upcoming projects.

“We're very happy to be developing this movie with Tom. There's no question that Ethan Hunt deserves another film”, Rob stated. He added, “The international brand is as strong as ever”. The recently released fifth instalment titled Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation has been highly appreciated by the audience and has grossed $121 million worldwide.

Rogue Nation was directed by Christopher McQuarrie and produced by J.J. Abrams, Bryan Burk, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger, along with Tom himself. The movie stars Tom returning as Ethan Hunt, Jeremy Renner as William Brandt, Simon Pegg returning as Benji Dunn and Rebecca Ferguson playing Ilsa Faust.
