'Modern Family' Star Sarah Hyland To Feature In 'The Wedding Year'

Sarah Hyland who is starred in ‘Modern Family’, is all set to feature in the romantic comedy ‘The Wedding Year'. It will be directed by 'Legally Blonde' filmmaker Robert Luketic for Lakeshore Entertainment . Hyland’s most recent feature film role was in Netflix’s electronic music drama ‘XOXO’.

The 27-year-old Hyland will portray a Los Angeles photographer who’s never getting married. So, when she and her new ready-to-settle-down boyfriend are invited to 15 weddings in the same year, the pressure is on to make some big decisions. Moreover, this movie will be Luketic’s second collaboration with Lakeshore after the 2009 romantic comedy ‘The Ugly Truth’.

The actor will serve as an executive producer with Lakeshore's Gary Lucchesi.  Marc Reid and Mark Korshak are also attached as producers. The production of “The Wedding Year” will begin later this month here. Lakeshore will be presenting “The Wedding Year” for sales at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.
