    Monster Trucks release date has been delayed till March 18, 2016, reported by TheWrap. The delay was announced by Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies on Tuesday. The film was supposed to be released on Christmas, but now has been delayed by 3 months.

    The movie will now go head to head against Allegiant: Part 1. The film will also hit the theatres just one week before the much awaited Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. The movie will be helmed by Chris Wedge. The film features Lucas Till, Jane Levy, Amy Ryan, Barry Pepper, Rob Lowe, Thomas Lennon and Danny Glover.

    The movie, which was announced in 2013, was set for release on May 29. But the release date was pushed back to December 25, the release date previously assigned to Mission Impossible: Rouge Nation. Now the film is slated for release on March 18, 2016. Principal photography for the film was started in 2014, with a production budget of $100 million.
