    By essaying the role of Britain’s one of the most popular royals, Princess Diana in her upcoming film, Hollywood star Naomi Watts feels she can empathise with the late monarch’s isolation and paranoia. Watts, who is playing Princess of Wales’s role in Oliver Hirschbiegel’s directorial venture that is set for a 2013 release, said Princess Diana had an extraordinary life but in the last two years of her journey she had suffered many miseries and ended in the most tragic way.

    Talking to the Australian Vogue, the 44-year-old star said the movie has given her an insight into Diana’s tragic life and she can also identify with the media interest in her activities. She said it was difficult to look convincing in the role of the Princess as she had the pressure to look right, to have good hair, to walk and speak like her.
