    Natalie Portman's Father Wanted Her To Study Law

    Actress Natalie Portman lately revealed that it was her father, Avner Hershlag’s dream to see the actress become a lawyer or a professor. Talking about her family, the 35-year-old actress revealed that education and literacy was the only priority of her family. However, when she was 11-years-old, she had developed an interest in the film industry and she wanted to pursue her career in the same.

    During an interview with Variety.com, the Black Swan actress revealed, “My dad pulled me aside when I was 25 and was like, 'I think it's time for you to go to law school. Not that he was saying that acting was bad, but more that he was like, 'I think you'll be more fulfilled if you have something more -- like a life of the mind". Although, Natalie belonged to a non-filmy background, she did not know how she developed a liking for acting.

    On the work front, the actress is all set to witness the release of her latest film ‘Jackie’, which will hit the big screens this Friday. The film narrates the assassination of President John F Kennedy's in 1963. Desimartini hopes that the movie sails smooth at the box office.
