New Addition To The Coldest City – James McAvoy?

The X-Men: Days of Future Past star James McAvoy is reportedly being eyed for a role in the forthcoming film The Coldest City. The spy thriller will bring James alongside Charlize Theron. The movie focuses on a spy who is dealing with the death of an underground MI6 officer.

The Coldest City will be directed by David Leitch who is known for his direction, along with Chad Stahelski, in John Wick. The duo will not be teaming up for the project as Chad is working on John Wick 2. Kurt Johnstad has written the screenplay for the film.

Shooting for the film will start in November in Budapest and Berlin. It was recently reported that M. Night Shyamalan’s Blumhouse will have James McAvoy as well, instead of Joaquin Phoenix. The actor will also be seen in the upcoming film Victor Frankstein, where he will share screen space with Daniel Radcliffe.
