New Character For Arrow Season 4

The fourth season of Arrow will have a new character in a super suit as John Diggle – played by David Ramsey - joins team Arrow. Diggle is a key part of the team as he supports him in field, provides decoys and helps Oliver Queen in time of trouble. A new image shows the character in what seems to be a black leather jacket and a helmet that resembles that of Magneto from the X-Men franchise.

According to EW, the executive producer of the series, Marc Guggenheim said, “We try to be very consistent with our characterization. I don’t think Diggle looks at it as a costume per se. Oliver [Stephen Amell], in the last season, gave him advice in terms of concealing his identity, and so Diggle approaches it from a very practical standpoint. He followed Oliver’s advice and he’s got a means of concealing his identity, but I think Diggle would probably react to anyone calling it a costume”.

The fourth season of Arrow will be aired on October 7 at 8 p.m. on The CW. Stephen Amell plays the role of the masked vigilante Arrow, who uses his skills with a bow and arrow to stop bad guys and prevent societal disasters. The show is created by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and started in 2012.
