New Footage for The Martian Released

Matt Damon starrer The Martian has got a new trailer. Released by 20th Century Fox, the trailer reveals the plot of the film along with the characters. The Martian is based on one of the best selling novels titled the same.

The movie will revolve around an astronaut named Mark Watney (Matt Damon) who is left behind on Mars by his crew after a storm. Being the only living thing on Mars (presumably), Mark has to figure out how to survive with little supplies and everybody on Earth presuming that he is dead. After being able to send a message of his existence to NASA, his crewmates decide to set on a rescue mission.

The Martian is directed by Ridley Scott and will be released on October 2. The movie will star Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Kate Mara, Michael Pena, Jeff Daniels and Donald Glover. The movie is produced by Ridley Scott, Simon Kinberg, Michael Schaefer, Mark Huffam and Aditya Sood.
