New Image for Deadpool Released

The upcoming flick Deadpool starring Ryan Reynolds has got a new image which was released by 20th Century Fox. It shows the Merc with the Mouth flying through firing his handgun. The highly anticipated film will be released on February 12 next year.

Deadpool’s anti-hero attitude and a dark and twisted sense of humor sets him apart from the rest of the superheroes. The movie focuses on the origin of Deadpool, who was a former Special Forces operative turned mercenary named Wade Wilson. A freak experiment to save his life left him with superhuman healing and a lust for revenge.

Directed by Tim Miller, the first official trailer of the film got a standing ovation at San Diego Comic Con where it was revealed for the first time. Along with Ryan, the cast includes Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Gina Carano, Brianna Hildebrand and Ed Skrein. The script is written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick and will be rated R on release.
